What helps most

• Split at scenes In Smart tools; splits a long shoot where the picture changes.
• Beat sync Finds the music's beats and orders the clips to the rhythm; then you fine-tune.
• Color match In the Adjust tab, makes one clip's color look like another's; “Apply to all” for every clip.
• Duck music under speech Lowers the music by itself when someone speaks, such as during the vows.
• Auto draft A first edit of 15, 30 or 60 seconds from the clips and music you pick; the originals stay untouched.
