Wedi
The island at the top of the app is Wedi's home: closed, it is a small pill with sleeping eyes. Hover and it wakes; Wedi appears in the middle with your job's details on both sides. He dances to music, watches your jobs, looks sad when something fails and eats what you delete. Try the real thing below.
When idle the island is a small pill: only the sleeping eyes show. Hover and Wedi wakes with a wide-eyed look, and the island springs open.
▸ Hover over the islandDrag the island: within 56 px of an edge it docks, farther away it becomes a free bubble. Drag the clips at the bottom towards Wedi to feed him. Click Wedi and he's happy.

Yes. 'Suggest short clips' in Smart tools reads the subtitles and lists self-contained stretches with the reasons; play one, add markers, set the range or copy it to a new project. It needs subtitles first. It uses no AI model and runs on your computer.
Anything that needs meaning or judgement: 'pick the best part', removing objects or watermarks, face beautifying. It says why and suggests a nearby tool. We say plainly what it can't do.
