A tiny monitor that lives on the island at the top of the app. It watches your jobs, tells you when they're done, and sometimes eats something.

Its eyes follow the pointer, it blinks now and then and floats a little.

Where does it live?

On the island at the top of the app. Closed, it is a small black pill with only the sleeping eyes showing. Hover and it wakes and the island opens: Wedi in the middle, your job's details on both sides.

You can drag the island: it docks at an edge or becomes a free bubble; you choose the spot. You can turn it off in settings if you prefer.

What does it tell you?

Progress and completion of long jobs: subtitles, detection, downloads, export.
The export report: size, duration and “Show in folder”.
Media you delete: drag it to Wedi, he eats it and asks “Shall I bring it back?”.
Your commands: type “cut silences” in the island's box or say it into the microphone; he answers “Done · Undo”.
When lots of jobs run at once: a queue and “one by one”.
If something goes wrong: the island turns red, says why, and “Try again” is beside it.

Sleep and wake

When idle the island is a small pill: only the sleeping eyes show. Hover and Wedi wakes with a wide-eyed look, and the island springs open.

Drag the island: within 56 px of an edge it docks, farther away it becomes a free bubble. Drag the clips at the bottom towards Wedi to feed him. Click Wedi and he's happy.
