Yes, Weditra is free. It never puts a watermark on your exports and never asks for a subscription.
No. Subtitles, background removal, face detection and beat finding run on your computer; your videos are never uploaded to a server. We don't use cloud AI.

Wedi transcribes speech on your computer and builds word-by-word karaoke subtitles. Turkish is supported. You can also cut filler sounds like 'um' and 'uh' from the video in one click.
Yes. Pick person or close-up and Wedi removes the background, so the export is transparent. It works on photos too.
Yes. Pick your clips and add a track; Wedi finds the beats, lines the clips up to the rhythm and prepares a first draft. You fine-tune it by hand afterwards.
We're building it for Windows for now. We have no date for Mac, Linux or phones yet.
Yes. The interface comes in Turkish and English and you can switch any time. The whole app is in both languages, not just part of it.
Editing and the AI tools run on your computer, but signing in, updates and the first-use download of extra content need internet.
Yes. What you see in the preview is what you export; color, transitions and text come out the same.

Yes. Type 'cut silences' or 'half speed' in the island's box, or press the microphone button and say it. Wedi does it right away and leaves an 'Undo'. Speech is turned into text on your computer and goes nowhere.
Yes. Type or say 'I want an old-film look', 'a bit warmer', 'wedding look', 'phone sound', 'make the subtitles big and yellow' or 'make the sound clearer'; Wedi applies the colour, effects and sound settings and leaves an 'Undo'. The chips under the answer nudge it half a step either way.
Yes. 'Suggest short clips' in Smart tools reads the subtitles and lists self-contained stretches with the reasons; play one, add markers, set the range or copy it to a new project. It needs subtitles first. It uses no AI model and runs on your computer.
Anything that needs meaning or judgement: 'pick the best part', removing objects or watermarks, face beautifying. It says why and suggests a nearby tool. We say plainly what it can't do.
Yes. Settings has Wedi sections: opening the island on click or hover, when it closes, where it eats what you delete, the 'Shall I put it back?' question, dancing to music, blinking, the edge light and sounds.
Yes. Right-click a project on the start screen and pick 'Save as template', press 'Make this a template' on Wedi when an export ends, or tell Wedi 'make this a template'. In My templates on the Templates page you can rename and re-categorise it, and export it as a .weditratpl file to hand to someone. The file holds none of your media, only the layout and library ids.
Yes. 'Create project package' puts the project with its media and LUT files into one file; on the other computer use 'Open project package'.
