Meet Wedi's island
The notch at the top of Weditra became a single island: Wedi in the middle, your job's details on both sides.
The notch at the top of Weditra is now an island. Closed, it is a small black pill: only Wedi’s sleeping eyes show. Hover and Wedi wakes and the island springs open; Wedi sits in the middle and the details of what’s happening are on both sides.
What does it show?
- Export: percent and time left on the left, steps on the right. When it’s done the island glows green, with the time, size and “Show in folder”.
- Music: Wedi dances, the track on the left, playback buttons on the right.
- Many jobs: with three or more at once, Wedi’s eyes turn into spirals and a queue appears.
- Error: the island turns red, says why and “Try again” is beside it. Wedi is startled first, then sad; never angry.
Deleting is a meal
To delete media, drag it to Wedi. As it gets closer it shrinks and the island opens to just Wedi’s size. Wedi eats; then a small question comes out of the side, “Shall I bring it back?”, and waits 9 seconds.
